Haiku

The next step of the design process involved thinking about what our purpose for designing is. We wrote a haiku to help develop a plan for how we are going to develop our designs and concepts.

My haiku speaks of looking to the past to influence my design. The goal is to take Graham back to the once thriving civic center that it was through strengthening the surrounding community.

Physical Model

To begin the design process, we gathered pertinent data about the history of the Oneida Mills and the surrounding area. We also studied the current landscape and what would be the original building structure.
My group's job was to construct a model of the campus that the class can easily reference.
